As a Consultant, Emma seeks to live out her commitments to equity, justice, and reflective growth by partnering with social sector actors to effectively operationalize their own values and visions. Emma believes that “the wisdom is in the room” and employs a facilitative leadership style to support organizations in defining their goals, capturing evidence of their impact, and building strong, sustainable learning cultures.

Prior to joining the LFA team, Emma spent several years developing her social change toolkit in public service and nonprofit program management roles, which led to providing evaluation consulting services to a variety of organizations and institutions in the public health, social service, education, and community organizing domains. Most recently, she served as an internal evaluator and strategic learning manager for a large intermediary nonprofit based in the Twin Cities.

In her free time, Emma can be found enjoying Minnesota’s many parks and lakes, indulging in pop culture podcasts, and spoiling her cattle dog.
