Jill Connaway

Executive Assistant and Employee Experience Manager

Jill joined LFA in 2014 with over 20 years of experience working in an administrative support capacity, primarily with social sector organizations. She provides high-level administrative support to the Founder and CEO, Chief Learning Officer, and various internal committees.  She is also a member of LFA’s Equity Leadership Team. She thrives on managing busy calendars, juggling multiple priorities, and flexing her burgeoning copyediting skills.  She loves using her administrative powers to support LFA’s mission to enhance the impact and sustainability of social sector organizations. 

Jill’s background includes work in affordable housing, inmate literacy, anti-racism, environmental education, and disability rights.

Jill enjoys water aerobics, challenging white supremacy, using social networking as a tool for revolution, binge-watching her “stories” on Netflix, and playing Words with Friends. She is an animal lover and is owned by a silly cross-eyed cat named Shredder. She lives with her partner in Oakland, California.
